Choosing a bedroom floor
Wear
Bedrooms take light foot traffic, so a 0.3mm wear layer is enough.
Heavy furniture
Use castor cups under beds and wardrobes to spread the weight, and lift furniture rather than dragging it.
Upstairs floorboards
Glue-down LVT can go over floorboards once they are secured and overlaid with flooring-grade plywood. The installation guide explains how.
Click SPC
GF Click SPC has its underlay built in. Do not add a second underlay, and never fit it over carpet.
Underfloor heating
