About Ambleside Smoked Oak
Smoky caramel oak with plenty of rustic character gives these wide boards a warm, aged look. The surface shows dark filled knots, fine splits and strong sweeping grain, with a light saw-mark texture across each plank. Colour moves from golden toffee to a deeper smoked brown, with enough variation between boards to resemble reclaimed timber. The finish is matt, which keeps it soft and natural.
It works well in living rooms with white sofas, sage panelling, pastel cushions and light oak furniture, where it adds warmth and grounds the scheme. It also suits country kitchens, dining rooms and bathrooms with warm stone and brass.
Wide 228.6 x 1219.2mm planks show off the grain and make a room feel bigger and calmer, with fewer joints. The same colour comes in basketweave and herringbone, so you can add pattern in a hallway or kitchen and keep wide boards elsewhere.
It is 100% waterproof and has a 0.55mm wear layer for everyday family life.
