About Lomond Oak
Clean, straight grain and a warm honey-sand colour give Lomond Oak a fresh, natural look. Fine lines run unbroken down each plank, with only the odd pin knot or soft swirl. The colour is even, with gentle warmth and no grey or red undertone. The matt finish looks like natural, untreated oak, and the overall mood is bright and modern.
It brings warmth to kitchens, living rooms and bathrooms. Pair it with grey upholstery, white walls, terracotta pots, oak furniture and white or sage kitchen units. Scandinavian and modern country interiors suit it best.
The 178 x 1219mm planks are long and wide, making rooms feel bigger and calmer, with the straight grain running the length of the floor. Lomond Oak also comes in parquet, so a herringbone hallway or dining room can match plank-floored rooms in one tone.
It is 100% waterproof and glued to a smooth, prepared subfloor, with a 0.55mm wear layer for busy family homes and suitability for underfloor heating up to 27°C.

How is it fitted?
It is glued to a smooth, level, dry subfloor, usually after a smoothing compound at least 3mm thick, then rolled. There is no underlay. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
Glue-down or click: which should I choose?
The GF by AW glue-down has the thicker 0.55mm wear layer, so it is the harder-wearing choice for busy rooms. The Click SPC is quicker to fit, with the underlay built in.
