GF Glue Down LVT
Glue-down LVT is bonded straight to a smooth, prepared subfloor. It sits low, feels solid and quiet underfoot, and won’t move or lift, which is why fitters choose it for kitchens, bathrooms and busy family rooms.
GF Glue Down comes in three wear layers, 0.3mm, 0.55mm and 0.7mm, plus GF by AW. The thicker the wear layer, the more foot traffic the floor is built to take.

What does the wear layer do?
It is the clear, protective top layer that takes the everyday wear. 0.3mm suits rooms with lighter foot traffic, 0.55mm is the all-round choice for most homes, and 0.7mm is built for the heaviest traffic, including light commercial use.
Glue-down or click: which should I choose?
Glue-down LVT is bonded to the subfloor, so it is very stable, copes well with temperature changes and can run through a whole floor without breaks. Can GF Glue Down go over underfloor heating?
Yes. Every GF glue-down range is suitable for underfloor heating up to a floor surface temperature of 27°C.
Is it waterproof?
Yes. The vinyl is 100% waterproof, so GF Glue Down suits kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and hallways.
Do I need a fitter?
We recommend professional fitting. The subfloor has to be smooth, level and dry, which usually means a smoothing compound first, and the planks are then bonded with a suitable adhesive.
