About Windermere Rustic Oak
Knots, splits and filled cracks are part of the charm of Windermere Rustic Oak. Its base is a warm golden tan with soft sandy patches, and dark knots appear on almost every plank, some with fine cracks running out from them. Shade varies from pale wheat to deeper honey across the floor, giving true country character. The finish looks matt with a light grain texture.
It suits farmhouse kitchens, period hallways and cottage living rooms. Panelled walls in sage or grey-green, antique wood furniture, gilt mirrors, worn rugs and linen cushions all sit well with it. It also suits light commercial spaces such as small shops or cafés.
The wide 228.6 x 1219.2mm planks show off the knots and give long rooms a generous, settled feel. The same colour also comes as basketweave and herringbone.
It is 100% waterproof and glued to a smooth, prepared subfloor, so a busy hallway or kitchen is no problem.
