About Glenridding Larch Herringbone
Glenridding has the pale, sandy warmth of light larch, with a little more movement than a plain blond floor. Fine streaks of darker grain, small pin knots and the odd soft arch run along each plank, giving it a natural, slightly rustic texture. The colour leans warm beige rather than white, and plank-to-plank variation is gentle. A matt look and micro-bevelled edges give each piece a quiet outline, so the pattern shows without hard lines.
It suits family kitchens with painted shaker units in blue, green or cream, an oak island and brushed brass taps. Pinky-beige tiled splashbacks and soft white walls bring out its warmth. Living rooms, hallways and bathrooms are all fine, since it is fully waterproof.
At 150 x 750mm this is a larger herringbone. The longer, wider planks form a bold zigzag that looks in scale across a big open-plan kitchen or through a long through-lounge.
The 0.7mm wear layer is built for the busiest homes and light commercial spaces, and the floor is glued down to a smooth, prepared subfloor.

Frequently asked questions about Glenridding Larch Herringbone
How many packs of Glenridding Larch Herringbone do I need?
Each pack covers 3.62 m². Measure the floor area, add 15% for cutting, as patterned floors need more cuts than plank, then divide by 3.62 and round up. For a 15 m² room that is 5 packs.
Is Glenridding Larch Herringbone waterproof?
Yes. It is a 100% waterproof vinyl floor, so it suits kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and hallways.
Can Glenridding Larch Herringbone go over underfloor heating?
Yes. It is suitable for underfloor heating, water or electric, up to a floor surface temperature of 27°C.
How is it fitted?
It is glued to a smooth, level, dry subfloor, usually after a smoothing compound at least 3mm thick, then rolled. There is no underlay. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
Herringbone or chevron: what is the difference?
Herringbone planks are cut square and laid in a staggered zigzag. Chevron planks are cut at an angle, so the ends meet in a clean, continuous point.
What guarantee does it have?
It has a lifetime residential guarantee, which means 35 years from the date of purchase. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
Can I order a free sample?
Yes. You can order up to five free samples, and we aim to send them within 3 to 5 days, so you can see the colour in your own light before you buy.
