About Nevis Oak Parquet
The palest of the parquet colours, Nevis Oak is a bleached, near-cream oak with a soft grey-beige wash. Grain is faint and fine, more texture than pattern, with only a few soft knots. Planks vary very little, so the herringbone reads as a light, even surface. The finish is matt and slightly chalky in feel, and the effect is airy and Scandinavian.
It opens up small or dark rooms and suits minimal, Nordic and coastal interiors. Pair it with white or warm grey walls, pale linen, light oak or ash furniture, and touches of black or brushed steel. It also works well in bathrooms and kitchens with white or soft grey units.
In 114 x 457mm planks set in herringbone, the parquet pattern is small and detailed, but the pale colour keeps it quiet rather than busy. The same colour also comes as a plank, letting parquet and plank rooms flow together.
This 100% waterproof glue-down LVT is made by Associated Weavers and carries Greenguard Gold, FloorScore and French A+ indoor air quality certification. It suits underfloor heating up to 27°C.

Frequently asked questions about Nevis Oak Parquet
How many packs of Nevis Oak Parquet do I need?
Each pack covers 2.93 m². Measure the floor area, add 15% for cutting, as patterned floors need more cuts than plank, then divide by 2.93 and round up. For a 15 m² room that is 6 packs.
Is Nevis Oak Parquet waterproof?
Yes. It is a 100% waterproof vinyl floor, so it suits kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and hallways.
Can Nevis Oak Parquet go over underfloor heating?
Yes. It is suitable for underfloor heating, water or electric, up to a floor surface temperature of 27°C.
How is it fitted?
It is glued to a smooth, level, dry subfloor, usually after a smoothing compound at least 3mm thick, then rolled. There is no underlay. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
Glue-down or click: which should I choose?
The GF by AW glue-down has the thicker 0.55mm wear layer, so it is the harder-wearing choice for busy rooms. The Click SPC is quicker to fit, with the underlay built in.
What guarantee does it have?
It has a 25-year residential guarantee. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
Can I order a free sample?
Yes. You can order up to five free samples, and we aim to send them within 3 to 5 days, so you can see the colour in your own light before you buy.
