About Farncombe Oak
Soft mushroom taupe sets the mood here, a greige oak that sits halfway between warm and cool. The grain is gentle, with long cathedral arches and fine straight lines running the length of each plank, and only the odd small knot. Some planks are a shade deeper than others, enough to read as real timber without looking busy. A quiet matt finish keeps the floor calm and settled rather than shiny.
It is an easy partner for grey sofas, white walls and pale oak furniture, and sits just as well under a cream or putty kitchen. Being fully waterproof, it can run from the kitchen into the bathroom, hallway and living room, giving a modern home one consistent floor.
At 180 x 1220mm, the planks are long and generously wide, which draws the eye along the room and makes the space feel larger.
