About Cray Ash
Weathered grey ash with plenty of texture. Cray Ash has a taupe-grey base with silvery highlights, and the grain is bold and wavy, picked out with white flecks. Knots and fine cracks appear along the boards, and planks shift between lighter and darker shades, giving a rustic, driftwood character. The matt surface looks dry and natural, which suits its outdoorsy, coastal feel.
It works well in coastal or rustic living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms and utility rooms. Pair it with white or soft grey walls, warm oak furniture, natural textiles and touches of blue or green.
The 183 x 1220mm planks are long enough to show off the grain and help a room feel open and calm. The same colour also comes in herringbone, GF Glue Down 0.55 herringbone and GF Glue Down 0.55 plank, so you can mix plank and pattern in the same shade.
It is 100% waterproof and clicks together on its built-in underlay, and suits underfloor heating up to 27°C.

How many packs of Cray Ash do I need?
Each pack covers 2.2 m². Measure the floor area, add 10% for cutting, then divide by 2.2 and round up. For a 15 m² room that is 8 packs.
Is Cray Ash waterproof?
Yes. It is a 100% waterproof vinyl floor, so it suits kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and hallways.
Can Cray Ash go over underfloor heating?
Yes. It is suitable for underfloor heating, water or electric, up to a floor surface temperature of 27°C.
Can I fit it myself?
It is the quickest GF floor to fit: the planks click together and float over the subfloor, and the underlay is already attached. The subfloor still needs to be flat, clean and dry, with a 6–8mm expansion gap at every wall. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
What is SPC flooring?
SPC stands for stone plastic composite. It is a rigid core made mostly from limestone powder, with a printed design and a clear wear layer on top. It is harder and more stable than flexible vinyl, and it is 100% waterproof.
What guarantee does it have?
