About Grasmere Oak Herringbone
Light, limed oak with a soft blush undertone gives Grasmere an airy, gentle feel. The grain is fine and close, with small white flecks picked out in the pores and the odd faint knot. Planks move between pale shell pink and warm sand, a subtle shift that gives the herringbone depth without contrast. The finish is matt and very soft, which suits rooms with plenty of natural light.
It is a natural fit for bedrooms with sage panelling, white bedding, coral and mustard cushions and rattan or light oak furniture. It also suits Scandinavian living rooms, nurseries, bathrooms with white tiles, and painted kitchens.
Slim 76.2 x 457.2mm planks give a fine, intricate pattern that feels traditional yet light, well suited to smaller rooms and period homes. The same colour also comes in basketweave and plank, so a bedroom and landing can share the same tone.
