About Troutbeck Country Oak Chevron
Very pale and creamy, Troutbeck Country Oak Chevron has an oatmeal colour with a soft pink-beige warmth. The grain is light and delicate, with long faint lines and hardly any knots, and there is little variation between planks. Its surface looks matt, giving a clean, almost whitewashed look.
It sets off colour well: terracotta headboards, mustard and teal bedding, blush armchairs and graphic rugs all stand out against it. It also works in calm bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens and bathrooms with warm white walls.
Each 158 x 710mm plank meets its neighbour in a clean point, and the square bevel defines every edge, so the arrow pattern is easy to read even in such a pale shade. Chevron gives a crisp, Parisian feel to larger rooms, and laid towards a window it gently leads the eye across the space.
It is 100% waterproof and glued to a smooth, prepared subfloor, and its 0.7mm wear layer handles the busiest homes.
