About Reaseheath Oak
Full of life, Reaseheath Oak is a warm golden honey floor with all the character of rustic oak. Knots of every size appear across the boards, from tiny pin knots to larger dark ones with splits radiating out, and some planks carry deeper amber streaks. The grain swirls and ripples, and the colour moves between light gold and richer caramel from one board to the next. Brushing has given it a tactile surface, and the oiled finish is soft and matt.
It brings real warmth to country kitchens with sensible care, cottage living rooms, dining rooms, snugs and hallways. Pair it with cream or warm white walls, heritage greens and blues, farmhouse tables, cast iron and wool rugs.
Mixed lengths in 125 x 300–1200mm planks give a busy, staggered pattern with lots of short joints, the look of a well-worn traditional floor. It works especially well in period homes and smaller rooms.
With a 3mm real oak top layer on a stable multi-layer base, it can be sanded and refinished in years to come. It suits underfloor heating up to 27°C.

Frequently asked questions about Reaseheath Oak
How many packs of Reaseheath Oak do I need?
Each pack covers 1.8 m². Measure the floor area, add 10% for cutting, then divide by 1.8 and round up. For a 15 m² room that is 10 packs.
Is Reaseheath Oak waterproof?
No. It is real wood, so it is water-resistant rather than waterproof. Wipe up spills promptly. It works well in kitchens with sensible care, but for bathrooms and utility rooms choose GF Glue Down LVT or GF Click SPC.
Can Reaseheath Oak go over underfloor heating?
Yes. It is suitable for underfloor heating, water or electric, up to a floor surface temperature of 27°C.
How is it fitted?
It can be fitted by gluing down or nailing, with a 10–12mm expansion gap at the walls. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
Can it be sanded?
Yes. The real oak top layer can be sanded and refinished. The thicker the top layer, the more times that can be done, so a 4mm or 6mm top layer gives you more life than 3mm.
What guarantee does it have?
It has a 25-year residential guarantee. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
Can I order a free sample?
Yes. You can order up to five free samples, and we aim to send them within 3 to 5 days, so you can see the colour in your own light before you buy.
