About Middleham Oak
Weathered and greyed, Middleham Oak looks like driftwood oak with a limed finish. The base is a soft taupe-greige, and fine white streaks sit in the open grain, which is long, straight and clearly textured. Small dark knots and the odd split add a lived-in character. Planks vary gently in tone, and the brushed, matt surface gives it a natural, tactile look.
It works in coastal and modern rustic homes, with white Shaker kitchens, stone worktops, charcoal or slate accents and natural linen. Fully waterproof, it is a sensible choice for kitchens, bathrooms and utility rooms.
The long 183 x 1220mm planks help the texture read as calm rather than busy. The same colour also comes in herringbone, GF Glue Down 0.55 herringbone and GF Glue Down 0.55 plank, so rooms laid in a pattern can flow on from the planks.
Planks click together and float over the subfloor, with a rigid stone-composite core and underlay attached. The 0.55mm wear layer is the all-round choice for busy family homes.
