About Langdale Heritage Oak
Aged and full of character, Langdale Heritage Oak is a smoky mid-to-deep brown with pale, limed grain lines picked out across the surface. Dark knots, small checks and burrs appear on most planks, and the colour shifts from cocoa to warmer chestnut and back again. The result looks reclaimed and well loved. The finish appears matt with a light brushed texture.
It suits period homes, libraries and snug living rooms with deeper walls in taupe, mushroom or olive. Walnut furniture, blue or rust upholstery, traditional patterned rugs and brass lamps all look at home on it. In a kitchen, try it with dark green, navy or putty units.
The 228.6 x 1219.2mm planks are wide, which shows off the knots and lets large rooms feel generous and settled. The same colour also comes as basketweave and herringbone.
It is 100% waterproof and glued to a smooth, prepared subfloor, so it suits bathrooms and hallways too.
