About Kingham Oak Herringbone
Cool, even and understated, this grey oak effect has a dove-grey base with slightly darker grain lines. Gentle cathedral arches and a few small knots appear across the planks, and some are a touch paler than others. There is no strong contrast, so the herringbone reads clearly but calmly. The matt finish looks soft and natural, giving a modern, restful feel.
Kingham suits contemporary kitchens, living rooms, bathrooms and bedrooms. Pair it with white, navy or soft sage units, chrome or brushed nickel, grey or blush textiles and white walls. Light oak furniture warms it up.
In 128 x 615mm planks, the herringbone has a classic look that adds interest without dominating, so it suits both period homes and modern open-plan layouts. The same colour also comes as a plank, useful for linking rooms.
It is 100% waterproof and floats over the subfloor on its built-in underlay, with a rigid stone-composite core. A 0.5mm wear layer handles everyday family life.

Frequently asked questions about Kingham Oak Herringbone
How many packs of Kingham Oak Herringbone do I need?
Each pack covers 2.36 m². Measure the floor area, add 15% for cutting, as patterned floors need more cuts than plank, then divide by 2.36 and round up. For a 15 m² room that is 8 packs.
Is Kingham Oak Herringbone waterproof?
Yes. It is a 100% waterproof vinyl floor, so it suits kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and hallways.
Can Kingham Oak Herringbone go over underfloor heating?
Yes. It is suitable for underfloor heating, water or electric, up to a floor surface temperature of 27°C.
Can I fit it myself?
It is the quickest GF floor to fit: the planks click together and float over the subfloor, and the underlay is already attached. The subfloor still needs to be flat, clean and dry, with a 6–8mm expansion gap at every wall. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
What is SPC flooring?
SPC stands for stone plastic composite. It is a rigid core made mostly from limestone powder, with a printed design and a clear wear layer on top. It is harder and more stable than flexible vinyl, and it is 100% waterproof.
What guarantee does it have?
It has a lifetime residential guarantee, which means 35 years from the date of purchase. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
Can I order a free sample?
Yes. You can order up to five free samples, and we aim to send them within 3 to 5 days, so you can see the colour in your own light before you buy.
