About Skiddaw Granite
Mid grey with a soft warm undertone, Skiddaw Granite has a fine, slightly speckled base crossed by thin dark and pale veins, like crazed lines in natural stone. The tone varies a little from tile to tile, with some lighter areas and faint mottling. Overall it looks calm and understated, with a matt finish and a subtle stone texture.
It suits modern bathrooms with teal or green vanities, warm wood shelving, white baths and brass taps, and it is equally good in kitchens, utility rooms and hallways. Cream or warm white walls stop the grey feeling cold.
The 304.8 x 609.6mm tiles have a micro bevel, which gives each one a soft, defined edge. The rectangular shape works well in straight lines or a staggered layout, and suits both compact cloakrooms and larger open-plan spaces.
It is 100% waterproof and glued to a smooth, prepared subfloor, with a 0.55mm wear layer for everyday family life.
