About Kilnsey Marble
Bright white with fine, feathery grey veins, Kilnsey has the classic look of a Carrara-style marble. The veins run mostly on the diagonal, some crisp and some soft and smoky, and they vary from tile to tile, so the floor looks natural rather than repeated. The ground colour is clean and cool, and the surface catches the light gently. It feels fresh, bright and refined.
It is lovely in bathrooms with white sanitaryware, chrome or brass taps and pale grey walls. In kitchens it suits white, navy or deep green units, and in a living room it brings light into the space alongside grey sofas, oak furniture and terracotta pots.
The 300 x 600mm tiles give a neat, modern grid with fewer joints than small tiles. Laid straight they look calm and tailored, while a brick-bond layout adds a little movement.
It is 100% waterproof and suits underfloor heating up to 27°C. It is also easy to live with day to day.

Each pack covers 3.24 m². Measure the floor area, add 10% for cutting, then divide by 3.24 and round up. For a 15 m² room that is 6 packs.
Is Kilnsey Marble waterproof?
Yes. It is a 100% waterproof vinyl floor, so it suits kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and hallways.
Can Kilnsey Marble go over underfloor heating?
Yes. It is suitable for underfloor heating, water or electric, up to a floor surface temperature of 27°C.
How is it fitted?
It is glued to a smooth, level, dry subfloor, usually after a smoothing compound at least 3mm thick, then rolled. There is no underlay. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
Is 0.7mm worth it over 0.55mm?
If the floor takes heavy daily traffic, such as a hallway straight off the front door, a busy kitchen, large dogs or a shop, yes. For most other rooms 0.55mm is plenty.
What guarantee does it have?
