About Devonshire Oak Parquet

Soft biscuit and sand tones give Devonshire Oak Parquet a calm, understated character. The colour sits between warm and neutral, without strong yellow or grey. Grain runs mostly straight with long, gentle streaks, and small knots appear here and there for a natural touch. Plank-to-plank variation is light, so the pattern stays clear. A flat matt finish keeps it relaxed and easy to live with.

It suits family kitchens, open-plan living spaces and hallways, pairing well with grey or cream sofas, white or pale painted cabinetry, terracotta pots and light oak furniture. Calm, modern and Scandinavian rooms suit it best.

In 114 x 457mm planks set in a herringbone layout, the parquet pattern is small and detailed, adding interest to smaller rooms and period homes without taking over. Devonshire Oak also comes as a plank, useful when you want long boards in one room and parquet in the next.

The 0.55mm wear layer is the all-round choice for busy family homes. It is 100% waterproof, glued down to a smooth, prepared subfloor, and suits underfloor heating up to 27°C.

Frequently asked questions about Devonshire Oak Parquet

How many packs of Devonshire Oak Parquet do I need?

Each pack covers 2.93 m². Measure the floor area, add 15% for cutting, as patterned floors need more cuts than plank, then divide by 2.93 and round up. For a 15 m² room that is 6 packs.

Is Devonshire Oak Parquet waterproof?

Yes. It is a 100% waterproof vinyl floor, so it suits kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and hallways.

Can Devonshire Oak Parquet go over underfloor heating?

Yes. It is suitable for underfloor heating, water or electric, up to a floor surface temperature of 27°C.

How is it fitted?

It is glued to a smooth, level, dry subfloor, usually after a smoothing compound at least 3mm thick, then rolled. There is no underlay. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.

Glue-down or click: which should I choose?

The GF by AW glue-down has the thicker 0.55mm wear layer, so it is the harder-wearing choice for busy rooms. The Click SPC is quicker to fit, with the underlay built in.

What guarantee does it have?

It has a 25-year residential guarantee. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.

Can I order a free sample?

Yes. You can order up to five free samples, and we aim to send them within 3 to 5 days, so you can see the colour in your own light before you buy.
