About Deepdale Fir
Honey-tan and warm, Deepdale has a wood tone with a natural golden glow. Clear cathedral arches rise through the grain, with fine straight lines between them and small dark knots dotted along some boards. Planks are closely matched, so the floor feels even, and the soft matt finish gives the look of oiled timber. It has a cosy, Nordic cabin feel without tipping into rustic.
Use it to warm up living rooms, bedrooms and kitchens, especially in homes with white or pale walls. It sits well beside green and blue paint, wool and linen textiles, ceramics and black metal accents.
The 183 x 1220mm planks are long and clean, giving a calm floor that makes rooms feel bigger. The same colour also comes in herringbone, GF Glue Down 0.55 herringbone and GF Glue Down 0.55 plank, so different rooms can share the same warm tone.
It is 100% waterproof and clicks together on its attached underlay. With a 0.55mm wear layer, it is the all-round choice for busy family homes.

Frequently asked questions about Deepdale Fir
How many packs of Deepdale Fir do I need?
Each pack covers 2.2 m². Measure the floor area, add 10% for cutting, then divide by 2.2 and round up. For a 15 m² room that is 8 packs.
Is Deepdale Fir waterproof?
Yes. It is a 100% waterproof vinyl floor, so it suits kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and hallways.
Can Deepdale Fir go over underfloor heating?
Yes. It is suitable for underfloor heating, water or electric, up to a floor surface temperature of 27°C.
Can I fit it myself?
It is the quickest GF floor to fit: the planks click together and float over the subfloor, and the underlay is already attached. The subfloor still needs to be flat, clean and dry, with a 6–8mm expansion gap at every wall. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
What is SPC flooring?
SPC stands for stone plastic composite. It is a rigid core made mostly from limestone powder, with a printed design and a clear wear layer on top. It is harder and more stable than flexible vinyl, and it is 100% waterproof.
What guarantee does it have?
It has a lifetime residential guarantee, which means 35 years from the date of purchase. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
Can I order a free sample?
Yes. You can order up to five free samples, and we aim to send them within 3 to 5 days, so you can see the colour in your own light before you buy.
