About Skye Oak
Skye Oak has more character than most light oaks. The colour is a pale natural honey with sandy tones, and the planks are dotted with small dark knots, fine checks and soft cathedral arches. Some planks are a little warmer than others, giving a gently varied surface. The finish is matt with a light grain texture, and the effect is relaxed, bright and slightly rustic.
It suits family kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms and hallways, especially with grey sofas, white walls, oak tables and greenery. Cottage, modern country and Scandinavian schemes all work with it.
Long 178 x 1219mm planks make rooms feel larger and calmer, while the knots keep the floor from looking plain. Skye Oak also comes in parquet, so a herringbone hall can share the same colour as the rooms around it.
The 0.55mm wear layer is the all-round choice for busy family homes, and this glue-down LVT is 100% waterproof and suits underfloor heating up to 27°C.

Yes. It is a 100% waterproof vinyl floor, so it suits kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and hallways.
Can Skye Oak go over underfloor heating?
Yes. It is suitable for underfloor heating, water or electric, up to a floor surface temperature of 27°C.
How is it fitted?
It is glued to a smooth, level, dry subfloor, usually after a smoothing compound at least 3mm thick, then rolled. There is no underlay. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
Glue-down or click: which should I choose?
The GF by AW glue-down has the thicker 0.55mm wear layer, so it is the harder-wearing choice for busy rooms. The Click SPC is quicker to fit, with the underlay built in.
