Who we are

GF Flooring is a trading name of Gros Flooring Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 10028282. Our registered office is C/O DJH, Chester House, Lloyd Drive, Ellesmere Port, CH65 9HQ.

What we collect

When you order free samples, we collect:

• your name, email address and mobile number
• your delivery address
• the designs you have chosen, and any notes you add
• whether you would like to receive marketing emails from us

We do not ask for payment details, and samples are free.

When you use our room visualiser, we collect your first name, email address, whether you would like marketing emails, the designs you try and the finished images. You upload a photo of your room to create the image, but we do not keep your original photo.

How we use it

• To send your samples. We use your name, address and contact details to post your samples and to contact you if there is a problem with your request. We do this because you have asked us to (so we can take the steps you have requested).
• To answer your questions. If you email us, we use your details to reply.
• Marketing emails, only if you ask for them. If you tick the box to hear from us, we will send you occasional emails about GF flooring. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by emailing us. We rely on your consent for this, and you can withdraw it whenever you like.

To create and send your room visualisation. We send your room photo and the design you chose to our AI provider, Google, which creates the image. We show you the image and email you a copy, because you have asked us to.

We never sell your information.

Who we share it with

We only share your information where we need to in order to send your samples or run this website:

• postal and courier services, who need your name and address to deliver your samples
• our website hosting and email providers, who store and process information on our behalf and must keep it secure

If you use our room visualiser, we also share your room photo with Google, which provides the AI service behind it, so it can create your image. Google handles this information under its own terms and privacy policy.

We may also share information where the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

We keep sample requests for up to two years, so we can help with any follow-up questions or orders, and then delete them. If you have asked for marketing emails, we keep your email address for that purpose until you unsubscribe.

We keep room visualiser details and the finished images for up to two years, and then delete them. We do not keep the room photos you upload.

Cookies and your sample list

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. When you add designs to your sample list, the list is saved in your own browser so it is still there as you move between pages. It is not sent to us until you submit the order form, and you can clear it at any time by removing the designs or clearing your browser data.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
• ask us to correct information that is wrong
• ask us to delete your information
• object to, or ask us to limit, how we use your information
• withdraw your consent to marketing emails at any time

To make a request, email samples@gf-flooring.uk. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first, so please contact us.

Keeping your information secure

This website uses a secure (HTTPS) connection, and access to sample requests is limited to the people who need it to send your samples.
