About Windermere Rustic Oak Herringbone
Rustic natural oak in sandy beige and warm caramel gives this herringbone a relaxed, country feel. Dark knots, open fissures and wandering grain appear across many of the boards, and the colour varies widely from pale cream to deeper honey-brown. That mix gives real depth and a reclaimed look. The finish is matt, with a brushed texture and a micro bevel on each edge that defines the pattern.
It suits hallways with painted front doors, warm oak or walnut furniture and runners on the stairs, as well as farmhouse kitchens and family living rooms with sage, olive or cream walls.
Slim 76.2 x 457.2mm planks form a tight, traditional zigzag, ideal for narrow halls and period homes. The same colour also comes in basketweave and plank, so a hallway can lead into a basketweave kitchen or a plank living room in the same shade.
It is 100% waterproof and glued to a smooth, prepared subfloor, so it lies flat and copes with wet coats and boots.
