About Fife Oak
Deeper than most of the plank colours, Fife Oak has a toasted, golden-brown tone with a hint of olive. Straight grain runs the full length of each plank, marked by darker streaks and small knots that add character. Planks vary a little in depth, from lighter caramel to richer brown. The surface has a soft satin sheen, and the feel is warm, grounded and classic.
It gives weight to large open-plan rooms, kitchens and dining spaces, and suits homes that want warmth without going dark. Pair it with cream walls, grey or oatmeal sofas, dark green or navy cabinetry, brass handles and leather.
Long 178 x 1219mm planks keep the look calm and spacious, letting the grain run uninterrupted across the room. Fife Oak also comes in parquet, so a herringbone hallway or study can share the same colour.
Made by Associated Weavers, this 100% waterproof glue-down LVT is fixed to a smooth, prepared subfloor, has a 0.55mm wear layer for busy family homes, and suits underfloor heating up to 27°C.

Frequently asked questions about Fife Oak
How many packs of Fife Oak do I need?
Each pack covers 3.69 m². Measure the floor area, add 10% for cutting, then divide by 3.69 and round up. For a 15 m² room that is 5 packs.
Is Fife Oak waterproof?
Yes. It is a 100% waterproof vinyl floor, so it suits kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and hallways.
Can Fife Oak go over underfloor heating?
Yes. It is suitable for underfloor heating, water or electric, up to a floor surface temperature of 27°C.
How is it fitted?
It is glued to a smooth, level, dry subfloor, usually after a smoothing compound at least 3mm thick, then rolled. There is no underlay. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
Glue-down or click: which should I choose?
The GF by AW glue-down has the thicker 0.55mm wear layer, so it is the harder-wearing choice for busy rooms. The Click SPC is quicker to fit, with the underlay built in.
What guarantee does it have?
It has a 25-year residential guarantee. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
Can I order a free sample?
Yes. You can order up to five free samples, and we aim to send them within 3 to 5 days, so you can see the colour in your own light before you buy.
