GF Herringbone
GF Herringbone is real oak engineered wood laid in the classic zigzag pattern. There are 35 designs, from slim 70mm-wide planks to broad 125mm-wide planks.
Finishes range from natural oils to lacquers, smoked and stained oaks, in Select and Rustic grades.

Why do the herringbone sizes vary?
Narrow, short planks give a busy, traditional pattern that suits smaller rooms and period homes. Wider, longer planks make a bolder pattern that suits bigger, open spaces.
Is engineered wood waterproof?
No. It is real wood, so it is water-resistant rather than waterproof. Wipe up spills promptly. It works well in kitchens with sensible care, but for bathrooms and utility rooms choose GF Glue Down LVT or GF Click SPC.
Can it be sanded?
Yes. The real oak top layer can be sanded and refinished. The thicker the top layer, the more times that can be done, so a 4mm or 6mm top layer gives you more life than 3mm.
Can it go over underfloor heating?
Yes, up to a floor surface temperature of 27°C.
