About Hebden Oak
Driftwood grey with a warm taupe undertone, Hebden Oak avoids the cold feel some grey floors have. Its grain is pronounced, with wide cathedral arches and long darker lines drawn across a softer grey base. Knots are minimal, and the planks vary slightly from silvery to brownish grey, which adds depth across a large floor. The surface shows a fine grain texture and a matt look.
It works in contemporary homes with white, grey or greige walls, charcoal or pale grey upholstery and oak or walnut furniture. Kitchens with white gloss, graphite or soft grey units suit it, and it looks clean in bathrooms with chrome or black fittings.
The 187 x 1229mm planks are a classic proportion that gives an orderly, calm look in living rooms and open-plan spaces alike. Laid in long lines down a hallway, they help draw the eye through the house.
It is 100% waterproof, glued to a smooth, prepared subfloor, and suits underfloor heating up to a floor surface temperature of 27°C.
