About Coniston Ash Herringbone
Soft mushroom and taupe tones give Coniston a quiet, greige look that sits between grey and brown. The ash-style grain is long and flowing, with fine cathedral arches, a few small knots and lighter streaks that catch the light. Boards vary from pale stone to a deeper smoky brown, so the herringbone shows up clearly without strong contrast. The finish is matt with a light brushed texture, giving a calm, Scandinavian-leaning feel.
It suits loft rooms, living rooms and bedrooms with cream sofas, sage or green-grey panelling, linen curtains and pale timber furniture. In kitchens it works with white, grey or soft green cabinets and brushed steel.
Narrow 76.2 x 457.2mm planks make a neat, traditional pattern that adds interest to smaller spaces and period rooms. The same colour also comes in basketweave and plank, so you can keep one tone across connected rooms.
It is 100% waterproof, glued to a smooth, prepared subfloor, and comfortable with underfloor heating up to 27°C.
