About Dormy Oak
Soft greige oak with a light, limed finish. Dormy has a pale grey-beige base with a hint of warmth, and the grain is open and wavy with whiter highlights. Small knots and short splits add a natural, slightly rustic touch, while planks vary gently in tone, some paler and some a little more taupe. The matt surface keeps it relaxed and easy to live with.
It suits modern farmhouse kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms, and works with white, stone or sage units, warm grey upholstery, wool throws and oak furniture.
The 180 x 1220mm planks are long and wide enough to make rooms feel larger and calmer, especially in open-plan spaces. The same colour also comes in herringbone, so you can add pattern in a hallway or dining area while keeping the colour consistent.
It is 100% waterproof, with a rigid stone-composite core that clicks together over its built-in underlay. A 0.5mm wear layer is right for everyday family life in most rooms.

Frequently asked questions about Dormy Oak
How many packs of Dormy Oak do I need?
Each pack covers 2.64 m². Measure the floor area, add 10% for cutting, then divide by 2.64 and round up. For a 15 m² room that is 7 packs.
Is Dormy Oak waterproof?
Yes. It is a 100% waterproof vinyl floor, so it suits kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and hallways.
Can Dormy Oak go over underfloor heating?
Yes. It is suitable for underfloor heating, water or electric, up to a floor surface temperature of 27°C.
Can I fit it myself?
It is the quickest GF floor to fit: the planks click together and float over the subfloor, and the underlay is already attached. The subfloor still needs to be flat, clean and dry, with a 6–8mm expansion gap at every wall. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
What is SPC flooring?
SPC stands for stone plastic composite. It is a rigid core made mostly from limestone powder, with a printed design and a clear wear layer on top. It is harder and more stable than flexible vinyl, and it is 100% waterproof.
What guarantee does it have?
It has a lifetime residential guarantee, which means 35 years from the date of purchase. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
Can I order a free sample?
Yes. You can order up to five free samples, and we aim to send them within 3 to 5 days, so you can see the colour in your own light before you buy.
