About Borrowdale Grey Oak Herringbone
Pale greige with a cool, washed finish, Borrowdale Grey Oak Herringbone mixes light grey, soft beige and almost white planks. The grain is gentle, with long lines, the occasional swirl and small knots, and the colour variation between planks makes the pattern softly visible. The surface looks matt and natural.
It suits modern dining rooms and living spaces with warm white walls, colourful velvet chairs, ribbed oak sideboards and bold artwork. Kitchens with white, olive or blue units work well, and so do bathrooms and bedrooms.
At 150 x 750mm the planks are larger than a traditional herringbone, giving a bold, open pattern that suits bigger rooms and open-plan spaces without looking busy. In a pale shade like this, the zigzag stays soft and calm rather than dominant.
It is 100% waterproof and glued to a smooth, prepared subfloor. The 0.7mm wear layer suits the busiest homes, and it works with underfloor heating up to 27°C.
