About Fife Oak Parquet
Toasted, mid-brown oak with golden highlights gives Fife Oak Parquet a rich, traditional look. It is the deepest of these parquet colours, leaning towards tobacco and coffee rather than honey. The grain is lively, with cathedral arches, darker streaks and a scattering of knots that add character. Planks differ a little in depth, so the herringbone has natural movement. A soft satin sheen brings out the figure.
It looks at home in Victorian and Edwardian houses, studies, dining rooms and hallways, and also adds warmth to a modern kitchen. Pair it with cream or warm white walls, deep green or navy joinery, brass, leather and grey upholstery.
The 114 x 457mm planks make a small, busy herringbone, the classic parquet effect found in older homes. The same colour is available as a plank, so neighbouring rooms can carry the same tone in a simpler layout.
This 100% waterproof glue-down LVT has a 0.55mm wear layer, the all-round choice for busy family homes, and carries Greenguard Gold, FloorScore and French A+ indoor air quality certification. Underfloor heating is fine up to 27°C.

Frequently asked questions about Fife Oak Parquet
How many packs of Fife Oak Parquet do I need?
Each pack covers 2.93 m². Measure the floor area, add 15% for cutting, as patterned floors need more cuts than plank, then divide by 2.93 and round up. For a 15 m² room that is 6 packs.
Is Fife Oak Parquet waterproof?
Yes. It is a 100% waterproof vinyl floor, so it suits kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and hallways.
Can Fife Oak Parquet go over underfloor heating?
Yes. It is suitable for underfloor heating, water or electric, up to a floor surface temperature of 27°C.
How is it fitted?
It is glued to a smooth, level, dry subfloor, usually after a smoothing compound at least 3mm thick, then rolled. There is no underlay. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
Glue-down or click: which should I choose?
The GF by AW glue-down has the thicker 0.55mm wear layer, so it is the harder-wearing choice for busy rooms. The Click SPC is quicker to fit, with the underlay built in.
What guarantee does it have?
It has a 25-year residential guarantee. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
Can I order a free sample?
Yes. You can order up to five free samples, and we aim to send them within 3 to 5 days, so you can see the colour in your own light before you buy.
