About Skye Oak Parquet
Fresh, natural oak in light honey and sand is the starting point for Skye Oak Parquet. Straight, fine grain runs along each plank with soft flecks and a few tiny dark knots, enough to feel like real timber while staying clean. Some planks are a shade warmer than others, giving a gentle patchwork across the pattern. The finish is matt with a subtle grain texture, and the overall mood is bright and easy-going.
It suits living rooms, kitchens and hallways in modern and Scandinavian homes. Pair it with grey sofas, white walls, pale oak tables, terracotta and plenty of greenery. It also works with sage or cream kitchen units.
The 114 x 457mm planks are laid in herringbone, a classic parquet look with a neat, ordered rhythm that adds character to small and medium rooms. Skye Oak also comes as a plank for spaces that need a calmer layout in the same colour.
Glued to a smooth, prepared subfloor, it is 100% waterproof with a 0.55mm wear layer for busy family homes, and suits underfloor heating up to 27°C.

Each pack covers 2.93 m². Measure the floor area, add 15% for cutting, as patterned floors need more cuts than plank, then divide by 2.93 and round up. For a 15 m² room that is 6 packs.

Yes. It is a 100% waterproof vinyl floor, so it suits kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and hallways.
Can Skye Oak Parquet go over underfloor heating?
Yes. It is suitable for underfloor heating, water or electric, up to a floor surface temperature of 27°C.
How is it fitted?
It is glued to a smooth, level, dry subfloor, usually after a smoothing compound at least 3mm thick, then rolled. There is no underlay. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
Glue-down or click: which should I choose?
The GF by AW glue-down has the thicker 0.55mm wear layer, so it is the harder-wearing choice for busy rooms. The Click SPC is quicker to fit, with the underlay built in.
