About Rookery Oak Versailles
Warm apricot with white-limed grain, Rookery Oak Versailles has a sun-bleached, softly washed look. A pale tone sits in the brushed grain, so the oak’s lines show as fine white streaks over a light peachy base. Strips vary gently in colour, picking out the framed border and the woven diagonal lattice within each panel, and the select grade keeps knots small and rare. The oiled finish is matt and natural.
It brings warmth to Mediterranean, coastal and relaxed modern interiors. Use it in living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and entrance halls, and kitchens with sensible care. Pair it with white or warm plaster walls, terracotta, rattan, linen and light oak furniture.
In 600 x 600mm Versailles panels, the floor becomes the focal point. The repeating squares create a classic grid, and the soft colour makes the pattern feel relaxed rather than formal.

Is Rookery Oak Versailles waterproof?
No. It is real wood, so it is water-resistant rather than waterproof. Wipe up spills promptly. It works well in kitchens with sensible care, but for bathrooms and utility rooms choose GF Glue Down LVT or GF Click SPC.

Yes. It is suitable for underfloor heating, water or electric, up to a floor surface temperature of 27°C.
How is it fitted?

Can it be sanded?
Yes. The real oak top layer can be sanded and refinished. The thicker the top layer, the more times that can be done, so a 4mm or 6mm top layer gives you more life than 3mm.
