About Windermere Rustic Oak Basketweave
Pale, sandy oak with plenty of rustic character gives this floor a relaxed, lived-in feel. The tone sits between oatmeal and soft honey, with dark knots, small splits and open grain scattered across the surface, so it reads like reclaimed timber rather than a flawless print. Narrow strips run on the diagonal and frame each square, creating a woven lattice where lighter and slightly deeper boards cross. The finish is matt, with a gentle brushed texture.
It sits well in farmhouse and country kitchens, especially with sage or putty cabinets, terracotta tiles, aged brass and open shelving. It also suits dining rooms, hallways and garden rooms where the floor can carry some interest.
Each 190.5 x 190.5mm panel builds into a parquet-style weave that feels crafted and traditional, making the floor a talking point. The same colour also comes in herringbone and plank, so a kitchen and the room next to it can share one tone in different patterns.
