About Aysgarth Oak
Greige oak with a soft taupe undertone gives Aysgarth a calm, modern look. The grain is bold and clear, with sweeping cathedral arches and a fine, slightly open texture, but very few knots. In natural light the planks take on a silvery cast, shifting gently between pale grey and mushroom brown. The finish is matt, so the floor looks understated and soft.
It suits minimal living rooms with grey sofas, white walls, cream rugs and pale ceramics, and bedrooms dressed in linen and warm white. In kitchens it pairs well with white, grey or black cabinets, and it is equally happy in bathrooms and hallways.
At 187 x 1229mm, the long planks create clean lines that lead the eye through a room and make it feel larger. It is a simple, versatile format that works in rooms of most sizes, from compact cloakrooms to open-plan spaces.
Being 100% waterproof and glued to a smooth, prepared subfloor, it suits underfloor heating up to a floor surface temperature of 27°C.
