About Hawes Oak Herringbone
Rich toffee and caramel tones give Hawes a deeper, more grounded take on golden oak. The grain is fine and mostly straight, with soft cathedral markings and very little knotting, so the colour does the work. There is gentle variation between planks, from warm honey to a slightly smoky brown, and narrow bevels define the herringbone. The matt finish adds a relaxed, lived-in feel.
It suits living rooms with grey or stone sofas, jute rugs, white walls and pale oak furniture, where it adds warmth without going dark. It also works in kitchens with cream, olive or deep green cabinets, and in hallways and dining rooms.
The 118 x 590mm planks give a larger, bolder herringbone that reads well in spacious and open-plan rooms. The same colour comes as GF Click SPC herringbone, GF Click SPC plank and plank, so you can use different formats in neighbouring rooms.
