About Gayle Oak Herringbone
This is the warm honey-tan oak most people picture when they think of a traditional wood floor. The grain is crisp and well defined, with long straight lines and graceful cathedral figuring, and there are very few knots, so the look is clean and refined. Colour stays fairly even from plank to plank, with gentle golden shifts, and fine bevelled edges outline the herringbone neatly. The finish is a soft matt.
It brings warmth to living rooms with grey or oatmeal sofas, sage walls and natural oak tables. In kitchens it works with cream, navy or green cabinets and brass. It also suits dining rooms and long hallways in both period and modern homes.
Broad 118 x 590mm planks create a bold, generous herringbone that holds its own in larger rooms and open-plan spaces. The same colour comes as GF Click SPC herringbone, GF Click SPC plank and plank, so the look can continue through the house.
