About Cotter Oak Herringbone

A clean mid-grey oak with a soft taupe undertone, Cotter has a modern, tailored look. The grain is crisp and clearly defined, with long straight lines and the occasional cathedral swirl, but almost no knots or splits. Tone varies only slightly between planks, from cool pewter to a warmer grey-brown, and a fine bevel outlines each one so the herringbone reads sharply. The finish is matt and low in sheen.

It belongs in contemporary living spaces with charcoal or mid-grey sofas, white walls, black window frames and natural oak furniture for contrast. It also suits grey or white kitchens, bathrooms with chrome and marble-effect surfaces, and long hallways.

At 118 x 590mm, the planks are broad for a herringbone, so the pattern is bold rather than busy and works in larger open-plan rooms. The same colour also comes as GF Click SPC herringbone, GF Click SPC plank and a glue-down plank, so rooms can flow together.

It is 100% waterproof and suits underfloor heating up to 27°C.
