Chevron is a parquet pattern where planks with angled ends meet in a neat point, so the zigzag runs in clean, straight lines down the room. It has a smart, slightly more modern look than herringbone, and in GF waterproof glue-down vinyl it can go in kitchens, bathrooms and hallways as well as living rooms.

Choosing chevron LVT
Chevron or herringbone
Chevron planks have angled ends that meet in a point, which gives clean, continuous zigzags. Herringbone planks meet at a right angle, for a stepped, more traditional look. See the herringbone designs.
Plank size and wear layer
Every GF chevron design has a 158 x 710mm plank size, 3mm thickness and a 0.7mm wear layer, the toughest GF glue-down option, for the busiest rooms in the house.
Waterproof
Every design is 100% waterproof vinyl, so one floor can run through the kitchen, bathroom, utility room and hallway without a change of floor.
Fitting
Glue-down LVT is fixed to a smooth, level, dry subfloor, usually after a smoothing compound, then rolled. There is no underlay. Use a competent professional fitter and follow the GF installation guide to keep the guarantee.
How much to order
Add 15% to your floor area for cutting, as patterned floors need more cuts than plank. The calculator on each design’s page works out the number of packs for you.

What is chevron LVT?
Luxury vinyl planks with angled ends, laid so they meet in a point and form a continuous zigzag. It gives the look of a chevron parquet floor in waterproof vinyl.
Is it waterproof?
Yes. Every GF Glue Down design is 100% waterproof, so it suits kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and hallways.
Can it go over underfloor heating?
Yes. It is suitable for underfloor heating, water or electric, up to a floor surface temperature of 27°C.
How is it fitted?
It is glued to a smooth, level, dry subfloor, usually after a smoothing compound at least 3mm thick, then rolled. There is no underlay. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
How much extra should I order?
