About Burnsall Oak
Dark, weathered oak in chestnut and deep coffee gives Burnsall a strong, rustic character. Knots, saw marks and near-black streaks run through the planks, and the grain is rough and textured, like old barn timber. Colour varies a lot from board to board, from warm russet to almost charcoal, which gives the floor depth and a reclaimed feel. The finish is matt, without any shine.
It looks its best in bright rooms with large windows, where it contrasts with white walls, grey sofas, cream throws and light timber furniture. It also suits industrial-style kitchens, cosy dining rooms and boot rooms.
Long 187 x 1229mm planks give clear lines and a sense of space, while the strong grain stops the dark colour from feeling flat. The format suits both open-plan rooms and narrower spaces such as hallways.
It is 100% waterproof and, with a 0.55mm wear layer, it is the all-round choice for busy family homes.
