About Antrobus Oak
Antrobus is pale, raw-look oak in oatmeal and soft biscuit tones, full of rustic character. Open knots, some dark and some pale, appear across almost every plank, and the grain swirls around them in strong loops and flames. Tone varies slightly between planks. The oiled finish is matt, so the wood looks natural and untreated.
It suits kitchens, living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and hallways, and works in a kitchen with sensible care. Pair it with white or soft grey walls, linen, light oak, black metal and natural fibre rugs. It brings a rustic, Scandinavian farmhouse feel to modern homes.
The 150 x 1900mm planks are long and of a classic width, so the floor runs in clean lines with few joints. That makes rooms feel bigger and calmer, and the length lets the knots and grain show at their best.
A 3mm real oak top layer on a stable multi-layer base means it can be sanded and re-oiled. It suits underfloor heating up to a floor surface temperature of 27°C.

Frequently asked questions about Antrobus Oak
How many packs of Antrobus Oak do I need?
Each pack covers 2.85 m². Measure the floor area, add 10% for cutting, then divide by 2.85 and round up. For a 15 m² room that is 6 packs.
Is Antrobus Oak waterproof?
No. It is real wood, so it is water-resistant rather than waterproof. Wipe up spills promptly. It works well in kitchens with sensible care, but for bathrooms and utility rooms choose GF Glue Down LVT or GF Click SPC.
Can Antrobus Oak go over underfloor heating?
Yes. It is suitable for underfloor heating, water or electric, up to a floor surface temperature of 27°C.
How is it fitted?
It can be fitted by gluing down or floating, with a 10–12mm expansion gap at the walls. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
Can it be sanded?
Yes. The real oak top layer can be sanded and refinished. The thicker the top layer, the more times that can be done, so a 4mm or 6mm top layer gives you more life than 3mm.
What guarantee does it have?
It has a 25-year residential guarantee. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
Can I order a free sample?
Yes. You can order up to five free samples, and we aim to send them within 3 to 5 days, so you can see the colour in your own light before you buy.
