About Cartmel Weathered Oak Chevron
Silvery and softly weathered, Cartmel Weathered Oak Chevron has a light grey colour with a faint taupe warmth. The grain is fine and long, with gentle swirls and very few knots, and slightly darker and lighter planks give the pattern some depth. It looks matt with a light grain texture, like oak left out to silver in the sun.
It suits farmhouse-style bathrooms with white panelled walls, freestanding baths, sage vanities and brass fittings, as well as kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms and hallways. Rough timber beams, jute rugs and white walls bring out its soft grey.
The 158 x 710mm planks are cut at an angle so their ends meet in a clean point, creating neat arrows down the room. Chevron feels crisp and orderly, and laid towards a window it draws the eye along the space.
The 0.7mm wear layer suits the busiest homes and light commercial spaces. It is 100% waterproof and glued to a smooth, prepared subfloor.
