About Horton Ash
The open, flowing figure of ash is clear in Horton Ash. Tall cathedral arches rise through long, straight grain in light straw and wheat tones with a gentle warmth. Across a full room the colour softens towards a light greige, so it never looks too yellow. There are no heavy knots or splits; the character comes from the grain itself. Planks vary just a little in shade, and the finish looks smooth and matt.
It suits bright, modern rooms with white walls, big windows, grey sofas, jute rugs and green plants. In a kitchen it sits well with white, stone or sage units, and it is a light, practical choice for a bathroom or a hallway.
At 187 x 1229mm the planks have a clean, classic proportion, and the long lengths let the ash grain run on without interruption, keeping the room calm.
