About Hawkshead Natural Oak
Pale blonde with a soft peachy warmth, Hawkshead Natural Oak has the fresh, light look often seen in Scandinavian homes. The grain is gentle and fine, with long lines, the occasional soft swirl and only a few tiny pin knots. Plank-to-plank variation is subtle, so the floor looks bright and even. Its surface reads matt and natural, with no obvious shine.
It lifts living rooms, bedrooms and home offices, and stays bright in a kitchen-diner. Bold colour works well against it: rust, mustard and teal furniture, patterned rugs and white-painted bookshelves. For a calmer scheme, use warm white walls, linen and pale wood.
The wide 228.6 x 1219.2mm planks keep joints to a minimum and give an airy, spacious feel, especially in larger rooms. If you want pattern elsewhere in the house, the same colour also comes as basketweave and herringbone.
It is 100% waterproof, so bathrooms and hallways are fine, and it is glued to a smooth, prepared subfloor. The 0.55mm wear layer suits busy family homes.
