About Grassington Oak Herringbone
Earthy mid-brown with a smoky olive cast, Grassington Oak Herringbone feels grounded and natural. Each piece is slightly different, some leaning warmer and some greyer, which gives the zigzag real depth. The grain is fine and mostly straight, with a soft brushed texture and no heavy knots. The matt finish keeps the look relaxed.
This is a good floor for dining rooms, living rooms and kitchens, alongside sage, cream or deep green cabinetry, brass, rattan and warm white walls. It is fully waterproof, so a bathroom or downstairs cloakroom is no problem.
The 115 x 460mm planks are narrow, giving a busy, traditional pattern that suits period homes and smaller rooms. The same colour also comes in plank, ideal where a larger room calls for longer lines.
Grassington is glued to a smooth, prepared subfloor and suits underfloor heating up to 27°C. Its 0.3mm wear layer is suited to bedrooms, living and dining rooms with lighter foot traffic.
