About Airton Poplar Herringbone
Pale sand and oatmeal tones run through Airton Poplar Herringbone, with some pieces a touch warmer and a few closer to a soft greige. The poplar grain is fine and straight, with long streaks and gentle figure rather than bold knots, so the floor feels clean and light. The variation between pieces is just enough to bring the zigzag to life. A soft matt finish keeps it natural.
It suits Scandinavian living rooms, light bedrooms and calm dining rooms, with white walls, pale timber, grey sofas and potted greenery. Fully waterproof, it also works in a bathroom or en suite.
The 115 x 460mm planks are narrow, so the herringbone is busy and traditional, ideal for period homes and smaller rooms that want a classic look. The same colour also comes in plank, so open-plan spaces can switch format and keep one tone.
Airton is glued to a smooth, prepared subfloor and suits underfloor heating up to 27°C. Its 0.3mm wear layer suits bedrooms, living and dining rooms with lighter foot traffic.
