What to think about
Choosing a bathroom floor
Water
GF Glue Down LVT and GF Click SPC are 100% waterproof. Wipe up splashes and never leave standing water or puddles on the floor.
Stone or wood
For a classic bathroom look, choose a stone-effect tile from GF Glue Down 0.55 or 0.7. Wood effects in plank and herringbone work just as well.
Underfloor heating
GF glue-down LVT works with both warm-water and electric underfloor heating, and GF Click SPC is suitable for underfloor heating too. The floor surface must never go above 27°C.
The subfloor
Glue-down LVT needs a smooth, level and dry subfloor, which usually means a smoothing compound first. GF Click SPC floats, so it needs a small expansion gap around the edges.
Mats
Use bath mats without a rubber or latex backing. Rubber and latex can permanently discolour vinyl.
