About Torridon Oak
Long, flowing grain is the main feature of Torridon Oak. Fine straight lines run the length of each plank, with an occasional soft cathedral arch or small oval knot. The colour is a light to mid sandy honey, neutral-warm without being yellow. Planks sit close in tone, so the floor looks calm and continuous. The finish is matt with a gentle grain texture, and the overall feel is quiet and modern.
It suits living rooms, bedrooms and dining rooms with greige or warm white walls, grey sofas, jute rugs and light oak furniture. It also pairs well with cream kitchens and brushed brass.
The 178 x 1219mm planks are long and wide, which keeps the floor uncluttered and makes the room feel bigger.
Torridon is a 100% waterproof rigid click floor made by Associated Weavers, with a 1mm acoustic underlay attached. Its 0.3mm wear layer suits rooms with lighter foot traffic, and it works over underfloor heating up to 27°C.

Frequently asked questions about Torridon Oak
How many packs of Torridon Oak do I need?
Each pack covers 2.2 m². Measure the floor area, add 10% for cutting, then divide by 2.2 and round up. For a 15 m² room that is 8 packs.
Is Torridon Oak waterproof?
Yes. It is a 100% waterproof vinyl floor, so it suits kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and hallways.
Can Torridon Oak go over underfloor heating?
Yes. It is suitable for underfloor heating, water or electric, up to a floor surface temperature of 27°C.
How is it fitted?
The planks click together and float over a flat, clean, dry subfloor, with a 1mm acoustic underlay already attached, so you never add a second underlay. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
Glue-down or click: which should I choose?
The GF by AW glue-down has the thicker 0.55mm wear layer, so it is the harder-wearing choice for busy rooms. The Click SPC is quicker to fit, with the underlay built in.
What guarantee does it have?
It has a 25-year residential guarantee. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
Can I order a free sample?
Yes. You can order up to five free samples, and we aim to send them within 3 to 5 days, so you can see the colour in your own light before you buy.
