About Glencoe Oak
A warm, natural oak in light to mid tones, Glencoe Oak has a friendly, lived-in character. Cathedral arches and straight grain mix along the planks, and small dark knots are scattered across the surface. Colour is fairly consistent, with some planks showing a slightly deeper golden tone. The finish has a light satin sheen, and the effect is homely rather than polished.
It suits busy kitchens, family living rooms, hallways and bathrooms. Pair it with grey or cream sofas, white or pale painted walls, oak or walnut furniture, and sage, navy or cream kitchen units.
Wide 178 x 1219mm planks give a relaxed, spacious look and make the most of long rooms. Glencoe Oak also comes in parquet, so a herringbone hall can lead into plank-floored living spaces without a change of colour.
The 0.55mm wear layer is the all-round choice for busy family homes. It is 100% waterproof, glued to a smooth, prepared subfloor, and works with underfloor heating up to 27°C.

Frequently asked questions about Glencoe Oak
How many packs of Glencoe Oak do I need?
Each pack covers 3.69 m². Measure the floor area, add 10% for cutting, then divide by 3.69 and round up. For a 15 m² room that is 5 packs.
Is Glencoe Oak waterproof?
Yes. It is a 100% waterproof vinyl floor, so it suits kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and hallways.
Can Glencoe Oak go over underfloor heating?
Yes. It is suitable for underfloor heating, water or electric, up to a floor surface temperature of 27°C.
How is it fitted?
It is glued to a smooth, level, dry subfloor, usually after a smoothing compound at least 3mm thick, then rolled. There is no underlay. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
Glue-down or click: which should I choose?
The GF by AW glue-down has the thicker 0.55mm wear layer, so it is the harder-wearing choice for busy rooms. The Click SPC is quicker to fit, with the underlay built in.
What guarantee does it have?
It has a 25-year residential guarantee. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
Can I order a free sample?
Yes. You can order up to five free samples, and we aim to send them within 3 to 5 days, so you can see the colour in your own light before you buy.
