About Braemar Oak
Braemar Oak puts its grain on show. Bold cathedral arches and flame-like figure run along the warm mid-honey planks, with fine straight lines between them and hardly any knots. The colour leans slightly tan, with a gentle golden undertone, and stays consistent from plank to plank. A matt surface with a faint texture keeps it natural, and the overall look is classic but clean.
Use it in living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms, with grey upholstery, oak furniture, cream walls and soft white linen. It also suits modern farmhouse schemes with sage or putty cabinetry.
At 178 x 1219mm, the planks are long and wide enough to make a room feel calm and spacious. Braemar Oak also comes in herringbone, so you can lay a patterned living room and continue the same colour as plank in adjoining spaces.
It is a 100% waterproof rigid click floor made by Associated Weavers, with a 1mm acoustic underlay attached and a 0.3mm wear layer suited to bedrooms, living and dining rooms with lighter foot traffic. Underfloor heating is fine up to 27°C.

Frequently asked questions about Braemar Oak
How many packs of Braemar Oak do I need?
Each pack covers 2.2 m². Measure the floor area, add 10% for cutting, then divide by 2.2 and round up. For a 15 m² room that is 8 packs.
Is Braemar Oak waterproof?
Yes. It is a 100% waterproof vinyl floor, so it suits kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and hallways.
Can Braemar Oak go over underfloor heating?
Yes. It is suitable for underfloor heating, water or electric, up to a floor surface temperature of 27°C.
How is it fitted?
The planks click together and float over a flat, clean, dry subfloor, with a 1mm acoustic underlay already attached, so you never add a second underlay. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
Glue-down or click: which should I choose?
The GF by AW glue-down has the thicker 0.55mm wear layer, so it is the harder-wearing choice for busy rooms. The Click SPC is quicker to fit, with the underlay built in.
What guarantee does it have?
It has a 25-year residential guarantee. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
Can I order a free sample?
Yes. You can order up to five free samples, and we aim to send them within 3 to 5 days, so you can see the colour in your own light before you buy.
