About Aviemore Oak Herringbone
Warm golden honey runs through every plank of Aviemore Oak Herringbone. The grain is fine and mostly straight, with soft cathedral arches and the odd small knot, so it reads as natural oak without looking busy. Tone varies only gently from plank to plank, which keeps the zigzag crisp and even. The finish is a soft matt with a faint wood texture, and the overall feel is bright, sunny and relaxed.
It brings warmth to north-facing living rooms and suits Scandinavian schemes with white walls, pale grey sofas, jute rugs and rattan. Bedrooms and dining rooms pick up its glow well, and it sits nicely alongside sage, cream or soft terracotta.
At 126 x 630mm, each plank is narrow enough to give a lively, traditional herringbone that works in smaller rooms, hallways and period homes as well as open-plan spaces.
This is a 100% waterproof rigid click floor made by Associated Weavers, with a 1mm acoustic underlay already attached. Its 0.3mm wear layer suits bedrooms, living and dining rooms with lighter foot traffic, and it works over underfloor heating up to 27°C.
