About Thyme Oak
Smoky cocoa and taupe come together in Thyme Oak, a mid-tone that is neither fully brown nor fully grey. The grain is fine and close, with a faint textured ripple across the surface and soft cathedral arches in places. A few small knots appear, but the overall effect is calm and even, with only gentle shifts in shade between planks. The finish is matt, which keeps the colour soft and modern.
This colour pairs well with white or stone kitchens, warm grey walls, black metal, brass lamps and oatmeal or rust textiles. It brings depth to living rooms and bedrooms, and as it is fully waterproof, it can run on into the kitchen and bathroom.
Long 180 x 1220mm planks keep the floor calm and make the room feel larger.
A rigid stone-composite core clicks together and floats over the subfloor with the underlay attached. It suits underfloor heating up to 27°C, and the 0.5mm wear layer handles everyday family life.

Each pack covers 2.2 m². Measure the floor area, add 10% for cutting, then divide by 2.2 and round up. For a 15 m² room that is 8 packs.

Yes. It is a 100% waterproof vinyl floor, so it suits kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and hallways.
Can Thyme Oak go over underfloor heating?
Yes. It is suitable for underfloor heating, water or electric, up to a floor surface temperature of 27°C.
Can I fit it myself?
It is the quickest GF floor to fit: the planks click together and float over the subfloor, and the underlay is already attached. The subfloor still needs to be flat, clean and dry, with a 6–8mm expansion gap at every wall. To keep the GF guarantee, follow the GF installation guide and use a competent professional fitter.
What is SPC flooring?
SPC stands for stone plastic composite. It is a rigid core made mostly from limestone powder, with a printed design and a clear wear layer on top. It is harder and more stable than flexible vinyl, and it is 100% waterproof.
